💡 Important to know

All policyholders that you create using the API will only be receive-only users. This means they can only receive transfers, without the ability to send them. You would probably already expect this, considering you're collecting premiums from them, but hey, a bit of extra detail never hurts 🙃.

Also, you cannot change your account information through the API. The exceptions are triggers of transfers on the policyholder's side using the ability to receive information about their payments, as well as pending payments on the policyholder's side.

In addition, you can only use the API to interact with the policyholders that you personally created using the API. If the policyholder is not one you created, you won't be able to modify their information or otherwise interact with their customerId.
