š” Important to know
All insureds that you will create using the API will only be receive-only users. This means that users who are the mentioned account type can only receive transfers, without the ability to send them. You would probably already expect this, considering your insureds are receiving payments for your claims, but hey, a bit of extra detail never hurts š.
Also, you cannot change your account information through the API. The exceptions are triggers of transfers on the insuredās side using the ability to receive information about their payments, as well as pending payments on the insured's side.
In addition, you can only use the API to interact with the insureds that you personally created using the API. If the insured is not one you created, you wonāt be able to modify their information or otherwise interact with their customerId.
