Sends an instant payment over the Real-Time Payment network. Real-Time Payments® settle in a few seconds and represent one of the fastest means of bank to bank transfers available in the US. In order to receive a Real-Time Payment®, both the sender and recipient's bank accounts must be part of the RTP® network. If one of the banks in the transaction are unable to process RTPs® the transaction will fail and money will not be moved.
